Pharaohs Curse is a puzzle game in which you are a sort of explorer who must find all the gold in order to get to a next level. Each puzzle includes different types of objects like shovels (used to dig holes) and hammers (used to break walls), which help you reach the gold. Also, there are different mummies and other enemies that you will have to kill with knives or boomerangs, which are the only reusable items in the game. The rest of the items can be picked and used only once, so use them wisely. All the levels can be replayed as many times as you want and the game also shows you the solution in case you get stuck. The first levels are very easy, but it gets more and more challenging as you progress. More items will be included, as well as more enemies.
The game controls are really simple. You just use certain keyboard keys to command the main character and to control the entire game. If you don't remember them, you can always consult the help screen that appears by pressing F1.
The game includes 70 levels that are played in 12 different worlds, but you can also create your own using the level editor. It also includes three difficulty levels and the controls can be completely customized from the options menu. Even though the game is pretty simple to learn, you will find comprehensive tutorials in the main menu. The graphics are simple, but nice, and the music and sound effects are suitable for this kind of games.
All in all, Pharaohs Curse is a simple puzzle game that will certainly keep you playing for hours nonstop. |
